With that being said, I feel like some of these viral tiktok recipes deserve their viral reputations and some of these recipes are just.....dare I say it....good? I feel like it's rare that a viral recipe is ever BAD but are they worth the algorithm hype? Guess you're going to have to watch and find out!!!!

Recipes:

Marry Me Chicken
▢ 3 large chicken breasts boneless and skinless, sliced lengthwise into thin cutlets
▢ ½ teaspoon salt
▢ ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
▢ 6 tablespoons (50 grams) all-purpose flour
▢ 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
▢ 2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter
▢ 3 cloves garlic minced
▢ 1 cup (240 ml) chicken stock
▢ 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (double cream in the UK)
▢ ½ cup (43 grams) parmesan cheese grated
▢ 1 teaspoon chili flakes
▢ ¼ teaspoon oregano
▢ ¼ teaspoon thyme
▢ ⅓ cup sundried tomatoes chopped
▢ 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves

- Season chicken with salt and pepper +, seasonings
- dredge in flour and shake off any excess.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter on medium heat & brown the chicken (do not overcrowd) for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Transfer onto a plate
- Saute the garlic and onion in pan for a minute or until it's fragrant. Add the chicken stock, and deglaze the pan scraping any bits stuck to the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
- Adjust the heat to medium-low, and add the heavy cream and the parmesan cheese to the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes, then season
- Add the sundried tomatoes then put the chicken back in the sauce and let the sauce simmer and thicken for a few more minutes.

▢ rotini pasta
▢ 1 lb of ground beed
▢ ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
▢ 1 tablespoon of garlic
▢ 1 tablespoon of onion powder
▢ 2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter
▢ 1 jar of marinara sauce
▢ 1 block of cream cheese
▢ 1 cup of spinach

- Boil your pasta
- Brown ground beef and add seasonings on medium heat
- Add in marinara sauce
- Add in one block of cream cheese
- Once pasta is done, drain and add to pasta sauce
- Add 1 cup of spinich
- Top with mozzarella cheese


Vegan Smashed Potato Salad
- Start by boiling your Yukon Gold potatoes until they are fork tender
- drain them and let them cool
- add them to a baking sheet and use the bottom of a cup to smash them down
- drizzle them with olive oil and some of your favorite seasonings and put them in the oven at 400 degrees for 10 mins before turning them
- Mix: celery, green onion, garlic, mayo (sub vegan mayo to make this vegan), apple cider vinegar, whole grain mustard
- Mix all the ingredients together for the crispy smashed potato salad!
