The Laowa 12mm f2.8 ZERO-D lens made a huge splash when it was first announced 3 years ago. Since then, huge creators have covered the lens and displayed it's unique design and results like in Brandon Li's "Venus Optics Laowa 12mm f2.8 Lens, Sony A7sii, Zhiyun Crane [sample footage]" and DSLR Video Shooter's "This 12mm Lens Will Break Your Mind". While it sat in my wish list on BHPhoto's website, one day I found the Laowa 9mm f2.8 for APS-C cameras. I thought, what's the difference between the Laowa 12mm vs the Laowa 9mm. So, I put the two lenses to the test so you wouldn't have to!
