Here we have a record-breaking lens: the fastest aperture 12mm lens for full-frame cameras, with the added bonus of minimal distortion (something I'm delighted to see). Lens manufacturers sometimes seem to trade low distortion for optical sharpness in their designs - can Venus Optics have their cake and eat it with this manual focus lens?
