This is the way we pour concrete for a double-unit home.
This builder has been building this style home for a few years now. It's always the same design with two homes connected by a utility area and a garage in the middle. (one bay garage for each side)
This double-unit home can be used as a rental or sold as two separate houses.
Our process for pouring the concrete in a double-unit home starts on one side of the unit, pour that floor first, then do the utility area, then pour the second house floor.
We pour out one concrete truck at a time, then mag float edges, screed the concrete, bull float it smooth, and move on to the next truck.
