During the winter months SkySchool MD Alex Ledger lives in Chamonix, France. With the lifts shut he has not been able to do much flying but he has been able to do a lot of ski touring. For several years he has wanted to do the iconic Haute Route Ski Tour but never found the weather window, until now!

Having completed the Chamonix to Champex section a few weeks earlier, Alex set off from Verbier on the 24th March with fellow Paraglider Pilot Blake Turczak and his cousin Pete Kayll. The weather couldn't have been better, so much so that it would have been possible to Paraglide off each of the three peaks they climbed during the trip.
