This is a complete how-to video showing you step-by-step how to get your MoonCat onto https://opensea.io/

Be sure to follow the written instructions below as well as the video.

This is a complex procedure, but I have tried to make it as simple as possible.

Of course, if you mess up any of the steps it is possible to lose your MoonCat so be careful.

I would recommend you familiarize yourself with all of the websites and steps below so you have a good idea of what it entails before attempting to do it.

That said. Once I figured out the steps it took less than 5 minutes to get my MoonCat onto OpenSea.io

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Go to your Etherscan Transaction details
2. Click on the ‘Logs’ tab
3. Copy your unique MoonCat ID
4. Go to Etherscan MoonCats contract - https://etherscan.io/token/0x60cd862c...
5. Connect your wallet
6. Go to “12. makeAdoptonOfferToAddress”
7. Enter “catId (bytes5)” - i.e. 0x00caeb1320000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (YOURS WILL BE DIFFERENT)
8. Enter “price (uint256)” - 0
9. Use this as the “to (address)” This is the wrapping contract address that handles the wrapping for you - 0x7c40c393dc0f283f318791d746d894ddd3693572
10. Click “Write”
11. CHECK YOUR GAS FEES before clicking accept. If the fees are over $40 you have done something wrong. Try the steps again.
12. Wait for the transfer process to complete.
13. Go to the Wrapping contract - https://etherscan.io/address/0x7c40c3...
14. Click “Contract” tab
15. Connect your wallet.
16. Click “Write Contract” Button
17. Go to “9. wrap”
18. Enter “catId (bytes5)” - i.e. 0x00caeb1320000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (YOURS WILL BE DIFFERENT)
19. Click “Write”
20. CHECK YOUR GAS FEES before clicking accept. This one is more expensive than the first - about $100. If it is much more than that, try the steps again.
21. Login to Oceansea.io with your wallet
22. Be patient - it can take up to 15 minutes for your MoonCat to show in Oceansea
Note: Your MoonCat may appear Green on Opensea.io for a period of time. This is completely normal, just give it time and it will self-correct.
