Cassava Cake
This moist cake is made from a root crop called cassava. It consists of grated cassava, coconut cream/milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs white sugar and margarine with custard topping on top. This cake is very popular in the Philippines and there are so many dessert recipes that you can make using cassava. Cassava cake is traditionally bake in an oven but for those who doesn't have an oven you can steam or bake this in the turbo broiler.
ingredients:
1 kg cassava, grated
2 cups kakang gata
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
300 ml condensed milk
3 whole eggs
1 1/2 cups white sugar(less if preferred)
1/8 cup margarine,melted
1/2 tbsp vanilla essence(optional)

Toppings:
1 cup kakang gata
300 ml condensed milk
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup grated cheese(more if preferred)
