In this video, I have explained the hygiene measures that are produced by World Health Organisation ( #WHO ) to stay safe from the coronavirus infection.
The basic hygiene measures outlines by WHO can be divided into 3 categories:
1. Hand hygiene: It involves measures that helps to keep hand clean and prevents transmission of infection through hands. WHO has outlined 7 sub categories under hand hygiene which I have mentioned in the video. In addition, there are 8 steps of hand rubbing and 11 steps of hand washing which has been clearly depicted in the video.
2. Respiratory hygiene : It prevents transmission of infection from respiratory tract to other person. This involves:
a. Covering mouth while coughing or sneezing.
b. Immediately disposing the tissue used.
c. Sneeze into elbow if no tissue or handkerchief.
3. Maintaining distance : This measure involves keeping a distance of at least 1 meter / 3 feet / more than arm's length from the sick people. This prevents the transmission of infection through droplets that travel to less than 1 meter.

In addition, World Health Organisation has recommended things to carry with you to help decrease the infection transmission and keep you safe from the sick people. This involves:
a. Alcohol based hand rub
2. Facial tissue
c. Thermometer.
d. Disposable medical mask
e. Use of resealable plastic bags
Note: WHO does not recommend healthy people use mask routinely.
