The 2022 Subaru WRX is all grown up. Despite being generally good to drive - and better-looking in person - it left us wanting a bit more. Every 2022 WRX is powered by a new 2.4 liter turbocharged flat four making 271 HP and 258 lb-ft, and the 2022 Subaru WRX can either be had with a six-speed manual transmission or Subaru Performance Transmission, which is a CVT. Our 2022 WRX 6-speed test car was fun to drive in some regards, but left us wanting in others.
