UNEP is seeking nominations for its annual Champions of the Earth award – the UN’s highest environmental honour – to recognize outstanding leaders from government, civil society, and the private sector developing and implementing innovative and sustainable solutions and policies to restore land, enhance drought resilience, and combat desertification. 

Nominations are open until 12 May 2024.
