The neurological approach to confidence, self-love, and personal power. Listening to a clip of Jordan Peterson (ref: Biblical Series) , he started talking about lobsters, dominance hierarchy, you know the usual.
But what stood out was the fact that a dominant lobster (one who keeps winning consecutively and / or on average) has an enlarged hippocampus (which controls emotions).
What's even more fascinating is that when that same dominant lobster eventually starts losing (commonly when a younger lobster can defeat him), his hippocampus shrinks AND his amygdala (that makes one more emotionally sensitive) grows.

People with PTSD for example, went through something traumatizing (defeating) and it shows in the cat scan the same effect a defeated lobster would have... a shrunken hippocampus and an enlarged amygdala. Although the amygdala doesn't shrink back once enlarged, the shrunken hippocampus CAN grow back... with effort.
This leads to how to grow your hippocampus.
There are three main factors (+1 that's personally helped me):
1) Exercise
2) Changing Diet
3) Brain Training
We go into how to train episodic memory brain training, which addresses the hippocampus specifically. Then diet that includes antioxidants and omega3 fatty acids, and removing white sugar.
