Episode #204: Lake Placid
After an unplanned break, Jon is back to reviewing crappy monster films; specifically the "Lake Placid" series -- the 1999 original penned by Ally McBeal creator David E. Kelley; the ill-advised sequel "Lake Placid 2"; the slightly redeemable "Lake Placid 3" that introduced regular Yancy Butler; the incorrectly titled "Lake Placid: The Final Chapter"; and the so-called crossover with another terrible series, "Lake Placid Vs. Anaconda".

Tonight's Films:
• Lake Placid (1999) - Pittance of non-ironically enjoyable moments prevent disappointment, 4/10.
• Lake Placid 2 (2007) - Dumb, derivative, and decidedly uninteresting, 2/10.
• Lake Placid 3 (2010) - Embarrassingly formulaic guilty pleasure, 3/10.
• Lake Placid: The Final Chapter (2012) - Inoffensive TV monster experience, 3/10.
• Lake Placid Vs. Anaconda (2015) - Isn't satisfying as it ought to be - but it's still better than it needs to be, 3/10.
