When traveling we are very particular about where we stay. Marriott hotels have been our go to for a long time.
Westin in a Marriott property so it seemed like a great fit!
Our kids really wanted to go Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood this summer. When we were deciding on where to stay we looked first looked for a Disney property in the area close to Disneyland.
There was one Disney property in the area but it was really outdated and older.
After researching and reading other reviews we came across the JW Marriott and Westin Resort.
The Westin hotel was closer to Disneyland and Downtown Disney and Disney adventure park.
We could walk to each location.

The hotel was beautiful and the curb appeal was gorgeous. We were greeted by the Valet drivers and bell men as soon as our driver dropped us off.
Our initial thoughts entering the lobby was that the hotel was beautiful and classy.
The rooms were really nice. A little smaller than we would have liked. But we were gone so much we didn’t even notice.
A plus was there was a balcony with a sofa and chairs and a tables. It was a great spot to go and unwind after a full day of being at the Amusement parks.
The food was pretty good at the Westin Anaheim.
The hotel didn’t have many dining options and many amenities but the location was great. There were many dining options in walking distance and a coffee shops close by.

The check-in process wasn’t that great. That would be our only complaint. We were given the wrong room initially. But the lady worked to get this situation rectified. This was not her doing but she fixed the issue.

Other than that the service was amazing. The employees were really friendly. A great staff and very accommodating.

We would definitely recommend this spot if you are going to Disneyland. A great location!
