It didn't take long for Abigail Mizzi to feel like Purdue University's College of Engineering was home.

On a visit to the West Lafayette campus for a Women in Engineering Program event while she was in high school, Mizzi quickly found community and support. That only grew once she started as a freshman, from finding classmates to study with, student organizations to grow in, staff who offered wisdom and faculty who provided insight.

"Every community I've joined here at Purdue has just been phenomenal," said Mizzi, an aeronautical and astronautical engineering major.
