In this HVAC training video, we will go over how to troubleshoot and remove air from a hot water boiler that has baseboard heat. Air is a sever problem in a hot water boiler because it creates resistance that doesn't allow the circulator pump to move hot water from the boiler to heat the space. It is important to close any isolation ball valve below a drain valve, as long as the pressure reducing valve isn't above it, to push water through the system in order to remove all the air that is trapped.
