In this video, I explain how to stop overthinking. I shot the video in 2020 during my stay as a Buddhist monk in Thailand.

In the night, we process many of our thoughts and activities we experienced during the day. That's why you want to practice these techniques in the morning when you start your practice.

Use breathing technique B3 (breathe normally, focussing on the inside of your nostrils) while staying present and aware. Every time your thoughts take the upper hand, you apply B2 (breathe deeply in and out) or even B1 (breathe vigorously and quickly in and out) to overcome overthinking. Repeat this exercise until your thoughts become more still. This exercise is your first step in breaking the pattern of excessive thinking.
