All Navien units are shipped with installation instructions along with a quick install guide. These are here to make the installation easier as there’s a lot of information provided to assist in the proper and safe installation and setup of the unit.

Along with that, the units are also labeled on the connections, inside the unit, or on the outside of the cabinet. The right side of the cabinet has the certification tag on it, along with the serial number sticker. The left side includes warning stickers. On the top of the unit, the intake and exhaust collars are both labeled along with the warning label for the VID switch.

On the bottom of the unit, if it's a tankless unit, the cold-water inlet, the hot water supply outlet, and the recirculation inlet on the A units are all labeled.

A combi-boiler will also have the domestic cold-water inlet and hot water outlets labeled, gas connection is located on the bottom of the unit and labeled as such, along with our condensate connection on the bottom of the unit.

On the boilers or combi-boilers, the heating supply and return are also both labeled on the bottom of the units.

Inside the cabinet, the propane conversion kit, the natural gas high elevation kit, and the spare parts kit are adhered to the inside walls of the cabinet. On the inside cover of all the units is the list of error codes along with the phone number for technical support, and a wiring diagram is stuck to the inside cover.

If you have any questions regarding labeling, components, or installation connections, refer to the installation manual, or you can contact our Technical Support.
