About us:
Hi, we're A Year to Volunteer (Y2V): We're Shar and Phil, a retired Navy full-time RV couple with a simple mission; to visit all 50 states and volunteer in each one, fulfilling at least 365 volunteer days on our journey. We RV with a purpose and want you to join in.

Y2V is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that organizes RV-friendly projects, many of which are at state parks and non-profits, for the simple purpose of helping understaffed and cash-strapped organizations around the country. Our upcoming projects:
🛠 Florida - Little Manatee River State Park, Florid (Feb 27-10 Mar) - we'll help them with a variety of projects to include trail and facility work.
🛠 Virginia - Chippokes State Park in Surry VA (3-14 April). Tons of awesome projects helping this historic park across the James River from Jamestown!
🛠 Raptor Education Group Inc (REGI) - a raptor rescue - (May 8-19) - we've been here twice before and they need more help to include building a few RV sites. We have availability!!
🛠 Minnesota - Farmamerica in Waseca MN (5-16 June). This is a state run educational institution and we tackling a bunch of upgrades for them.
🛠 Colorado - (11-22 Sep) State Forest State Park. We will help this park with some renovations at 10000 feet! We're up for the challenge!
