Hi, we're A Year to Volunteer (Y2V): We're Shar and Phil, a retired Navy full-time RV couple with a simple mission; to visit all 50 states and volunteer in each one, fulfilling at least 365 volunteer days on our journey. We RV with a purpose and want you to join in.

Y2V is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that organizes RV-friendly projects, many of which are at state parks and non-profits, for the simple purpose of helping understaffed and cash-strapped organizations around the country. 🛠 Iowa - Living History Farms in Urbandale IA (Oct 30 - Nov 11) - we help this nonprofit with some much needed repairs and upgrades to their exhibits.
🛠 Florida - Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park, Fort Lauderdale FL (Feb 13-24) - we'll help them with a variety of projects to include deck and pier work.
🛠 Georgia - TBD in March
🛠 Virginia - Chippokes State Park in Surry VA (3-14 April). Tons of awesome projects helping this historic park across the James River from Jamestown!
🛠 Minnesota - Farmamerica in Waseca MN (5-16 June). This is a state run educational institution and we tackling a bunch of upgrades for them.
