Want to connect a new underfloor heating system to your existing heating systems, while maintaining independent control of it? Today, we share an S Plan heating configuration that might just be the answer you need.

With this configuration, you should be able to independently control the different elements of your heating systems. If you have a heating system in your house that includes radiators, or hot water cylinders, and you also want to have underfloor heating, the last thing you want is for them to work concurrently.

You need to be able to heat water in the water cylinder when necessary, without having to switch the underfloor heating system on and vice versa. Having a 2-port zone valve can help you connect the heating systems while allowing them to operate independently from one another.
