Today I am happy to try the recently refurbished Verderers trail that reopened yesterday, which has been renovated from marker #68 for the 2nd and 3rd descent.

This is my favourite trail at FOD, (Forest of Dean), 😍 and is a wonderful blue trail that loops around FOD for about 7.68 miles.

Verderers is a rollable trail that can be taken as slowly as you like, and I am humbled to be a member of Dean Trail Volunteers.

I love this trail so much that one day another volunteer and I spent 3-hours sweeping the last descent as it needed some TLC earlier this year and noted 50 other riders enjoying the trail, who must love it as much as I do. 😲

Still learning how to ride and practising the basics after my recent and brilliant 1:1 coaching session. I have so much yet to learn after starting MTB at the age of 50 last year and getting more time in the saddle than when I started.

I am learning how to edit and create videos for my family and friends to enjoy and for anyone who has a similar interest in this wonderful thing that is MTB. Particularly if you are new to MTB, learning from coaching sessions, and especially if you started a little later in life, where we don’t bounce anymore, we tend to snap, crackle and pop.
