Hello, you absolute LEGENDS of MTB. 🙌🏼

Pre-Ride, Re-Ride, Free-Ride is a brilliant philosophy I discovered at BPW, Bike Park Wales, last year on my 1st visit, and it has helped me to progress as a rider, no longer allowing my ego to attempt new trails aggressively and without caution. 👍🏼

Pre-Ride is to ride a NEW trail at your own safe pace, knowing that you can stop at any feature you are not sure of SAFELY, review the feature, and decide to either try the feature or, if you are not comfortable, walk past the feature.

Re-Ride is to ride the trail again, knowing the trail from the past ride, taking more notes, and making sure you are EVEN MORE familiar with the trail and its features.

Free-Ride is to ride the trail again a little faster if you like, within your skills, and capabilities safely, continuing to familiarise yourself with the trail and improving as you ride and progress.

REMEMBER – it is always better to get down knowing you can do better than let your ego take over and hurt yourself, as you will see coming up in this video.

Don’t forget that Pro-Riders session the same trail all day, to dial themselves and the bike to create the best performance. This is why they make some trails look so easy, practice, practice, and more practice.

Coaching and group rides have been amazing, and I hope these videos show the benefits of the BPW, Bike Park Wales, Pre-Ride, Re-Ride, and Free-Ride philosophy in practice in this video. 👍🏼

I truly feel this Philosophy has made me a more Competent and Confident rider on the trials, and I hope it can do the same for you, my friends. 😊
