Who is Charli D’amelio? Whether you just started your Tik Tok account or have been making videos on the app for a
while, you definitely know who Charli D'amelio is. The fifteen-year-old teenager from
Connecticut has been competitively dancing for her entire life. In the summer of 2019, she
decided to take her talents and make them a little more public. D'amelio made her debut on Tik
Tok by uploading a series of dance videos that quickly took over the Internet. She undoubtedly
owes a portion of her fame to her role in The Hype House, a literal house in Los Angeles where
fellow Tik Tok stars and YouTubers live together, such as fellow dancer Addison Rae.
Through her membership, she had the opportunity to sign with a major talent agency called
WME in January of 2020. With the company's help, she soon gained a worldwide audience on
her Tik Tok account. With almost forty-four million loyal fans, she now has the most followers
out of any user on the app. That title was previously held by Loren Gray, a singer from
Pennsylvania. Charli D'amelio's social media career has exploded on all platforms, including herInstagram that has over ten million followers.
Her Tik Tok career gave her the opportunity to really make a name for herself, starring in Super
Bowl commercials and even meeting Jennifer Lopez at Super Bowl LIV. She now has
experienced quite her fair share of meet-ups with celebrities. She collaborated with stars such
as Noah Schnapp, a popular actor on the Netflix series, Stranger Things. Pop singer Bebe
Rexha even slid into D’amelio’s DMs and invited her to dance on stage during one of her
concerts at the Barclays Center in New York City.
