My name is Eric and I own and run a full service niche market salvage operation in Saint Louis, MO. Part of our model is buying blown up and core engines and tearing them down to sell the parts. I rarely get a story with these engines, mileage and history are usually completely unknown.

This engine came in just as you see it, completely dressed. I knew from the beginning this engine had a major issue and was non rebuildable. I had no idea it would be this bad. These are pretty solid engines but people will always find a way to destroy anything. This is an Iron block 58x Gen4 LS architecture engine, LY6 RPO Code. Its a 6.0L, with rectangle port heads. This engine comes in 2007+ GMT900 full size trucks and suvs , Silverado and Sierra 2500HD, 3500HD. Express and savanna 2500 and 3500 as well.
