Time-lapse coloring video for 'Tudor Queens and Consorts' coloring book inspired by a portrait of Queen Elizabeth I by the flemish artist Marcus Gheerarts the Elder. The colors I used are also based loosely on the hues in the original portrait. This work, painted some time between 1580 and 1585 is full of peacetime symbolism: the olive branch in her hand, the loyal dog, and the sword at her feet. We also see a privy garden through the doorway behind her.

This book is written by Natalie Grueninger and illustrated by Kathryn Holeman.
