So where was the actual platform that held Abraham Lincoln when he gave his Gettysburg Address in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on November 19, 1863? As it turns out, it's likely very near the grave of Jennie Wade, who was struck down by a bullet on the last day of the Battle of Gettysburg (July 3, 1863) while making bread for Union soldiers in her sister's home in Gettysburg, and thus becoming the only civilian casualty of the Battle of Gettysburg (July 1-3, 1863). I went inside the home where Wade was killed and then scoured Evergreen Cemetery and the Gettysburg National Cemetery in search of answers. Come with me, the History Mystery Man, for another awesome adventure...this one inside the graveyards of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This one's a bit creepy, but I know you'll love it, and learn a few things too. Thanks for your support!
