After exploring North Bali, We decide to spend a day in Ubud. In this video, we are exploring Ubud in which includes the Ubud Palace, Saraswati Temple, Monkey Forest & more.

Date of Journey - 20th March 2024

Below are the Activities we did throughout the day.

Introduction - We started our day in the morning from outside of the Ubud Palace. We saw a Statue of Ida Tjokorda Gde Agung Sukawati, He is a person who was a pioneer in building tourism in Bali.

Breakfast at Ubud - After this, we proceeded to Herb Library Restaurant & had breakfast there. We had “Curry for Care” in the breakfast

Cost - 57,000 IDR ( INR 300 )

Ubud Palace - After breakfast, we visited the Ubud Palace. It is the residence of the "royal family" of Ubud. Here You can access the courtyards, but not the inner palace.

Saraswati Temple - After this we visited the Saraswati Temple, beside the Ubud Palace. Saraswati Temple is an old Hindu Temple in central Bali that was built by one of the Ubud princes. The most notable feature of the Temple is its lotus pond and water garden. It was such a great experience to come here.

Monkey Forest - After this we travelled around 2 km and reached the Popular tourist destination of Ubud “Monkey Forest”

Lunch at Ubud - Then, we travelled for around 20 minutes & reached the Balinese Home-Cooking (Warung). We had the Balinese cuisine Nasi Campur in the lunch.

Overall we enjoyed having lunch at this place, the place & the food was amazing here.

Tegenungan Waterfall - After this we reached “Tegenungan Waterfall”. It takes about 15 minutes to hike down the steps to the waterfall.

The waterfall is about 30 meters tall. We enjoyed & took a bath at the waterfall, it was a great experience to come here.

Tegenungan Waterfall Tickets - 20,000 IDR (110 INR) Per Person

Ubud Palace Traditional Dance - After this we reached back at the Ubud Palace to attend the “Leong & Barong” traditional dance. This traditional dance is held here every Wednesday from 7:30 - 9:00 pm.

Leong & Barong dance Tickets - 100k IDR (520 INR) per person

After this, we ended our day.
