Dreamcatcher reflects in many ways the musical heart and soul of the late Aaron "Frosty" Foster. Dreamcatcher was formed in early summer of 2015 by Troy Boone and Aaron "Frosty" Foster. Upon the release of Troy's debut CD "First Impressions," Troy and Aaron decided to create a band project that fulfilled their musical desires. Hence, Dreamcatcher was born. After about two years of touring and playing shows with Dreamcatcher from Florida to Vermont, Troy Boone accepted the position with bluegrass super group "Sideline". Troy then passed over the all the reins of Dreamcatcher management to Aaron "Frosty" Foster. This change occurred shortly before the May 2017 UCHS Family and Friends Bluegrass Concert in which Troy was also unable to participate due to conflict with a “Sideline” scheduled road gig. This video features those musicians associated with Dreamcatcher only during mid-2017. The Dreamcatcher vocal lead playing mandolin during this show is Ben Watlington from Mocksville, North Carolina.

From Aaron “Frosty” Foster obituary in Bluegrass Today:
Aaron “Frosty” Foster, 28, passed away at his home in Elizabethton, Tennessee, on February 10, 2021. Foster, a native of Wells Bridge, NY, had made eastern Tennessee his home for the past decade as he pursued a degree at East Tennessee State University and later, a career in bluegrass music. Although he didn’t originally pursue the university’s bluegrass coursework, a few elective classes and an eager welcome into local and student jams and performances led to a change in majors and career paths. Foster eventually spent two years with the university’s top bluegrass student band, the Bluegrass Pride Band, and received his bachelor’s degree in 2017.
