2019 Leon Kiser Memorial Show was final (for now) show produced by the Appalachian Cultural Music Association (ACMA) to support the ACMA scholarship efforts at East Tennessee State University. The "Troublesome Hollow" band is comprised regular members Tim White, Donnie Ollis, Gary Ollis and special guest Raymond McLain. Due to declining membership the ACMA was ended by action of the ACMA board in January 2020.

The ACMA Pickin' Porch was founded in 1998 in Bristol, Virginia to perpetuate the traditional music of the region and has moved through several location in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia since then. The Appalachian Cultural Music Association (A.C.M.A) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed by a group of volunteers to promote, enhance and perpetuate the music of the Southern Appalachian Region. Bluegrass, old time, Celtic, classic country, gospel and Americana music was born in or has influenced the music of this region. The ACMA Mountain Music Museum which had been moved to Kingsport, Tennessee in November 2017 was closed and the collections dispersed in July 2019. The last ACMA Pickin' Porch show was hosted in the Museum on 13 June 2019 featuring "Tennessee Border" a locally based bluegrass band. No Pickin' Porch shows have been held or scheduled since. A meeting of the ACMA Board Of Directors was held on 10 February 2020 to map out the path forward. It was unanimously voted by the board to disband the 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Artifacts and other fixtures from the museum were legally transferred to the Carter Family Fold and Museum (another 501(c)3 non-profit organization) in Hiltons, Virginia (Maces Springs community) where display will be forthcoming.
