NEW 2025 Ford Bronco Hybrid: A Revolution in SUV Technology!

Ford has been seen conducting tests on a prototype of the Bronco Sport, which has been upgraded with modifications that indicate the company is working on a more off-road competent version of the compact crossover.

The Badlands is now the Bronco Sport that possesses the highest level of capability. There is also a Black Diamond Off-Road Package that Ford provides for the Big Bend and Outer Banks grades of vehicles. It is possible that a variant that is better suited for off-roading would be positioned as a new grade.

There are new fascias on both the front and the back of the prototype, despite the fact that it is heavily hidden. Not only might these be constructed to increase approach and departure angles, but they could also be engineered to accommodate larger skid plates. There is also the possibility that the prototype has a ground clearance that is greater than the typical 8.8 inches that the Bronco Sport can achieve.

The choice of tires is yet another important indicator. In accordance with the information provided by our photographer, the prototype is equipped with Goodyear Territory Mud-Terrain tires. Although they have never been seen on a Bronco Sport before, these tires are utilized on variants of the larger Bronco that are more equipped to handle off-road terrain. The prototype features tires that are wrapped around a new wheel design that is reminiscent of the robust design that will be used on the new Mustang Mach-E Rally, which will be released in 2024.

There is also a dual-tip exhaust that can be seen, although the design is simply a temporary device that is being used for testing purposes and will need to be altered as the development process continues.

Both a 1.5-liter turbo-3 engine with 181 horsepower and a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine with 250 horsepower are available choices for the Bronco Sport at the moment. A hybrid option has been said to be available, although it is not entirely clear whether or not this is the option that is being tried here.

A new Bronco Sport variation is anticipated to make its debut the following year as a 2025 model if Ford is intending to produce one.
