How to make a Frangipane Slice with Raspberry Jam Top Glaze from start to finish. Frangipane is such a moist and flexible batter that you could put it in your tarts or on your tarts, in puff pastry or just make a slice of it and it will make sense. This cake is full of almond flavour and the bright jam helps to elevate it even more. Go and make this, unless you are allergic to nuts.

Ingredient List

375g Butter
375g Caster Sugar
375g Ground Almonds
115g Plain Flour
6 nos Whole Eggs

Optional

5g Almond Extract

*** Make sure all of the ingredients are at room temperature when mixing.

*** Bake the cake at 170c -175c for about 25 mins to 35 mins.

250g of Raspberry Jam (or any other jam)
Edible Shimmer Dust (Gold, Silver or Pink)
