Good Morning, it has been a beautiful weekend so far and we have been experimenting with post production treatment of our videos to bring up the color and smooth out the total performance. While I was editing this video yesterday I noticed that each of the hummingbirds were females and that that each of their body markings have subtle differences just like finger prints. Perhaps we could use this digital technology, if we are not already using it to trace where exactly our birds travel to in the winter. At this point I am working with an older model Canon GL2 camera and hope to upgrade soon. That will improve the picture resolution quality greatly. These are Ruby Throat Humming bird. Only the male has the ruby throat. There are no males in this video.
