That's why here at Joni and Friends our Wheels for the World program is intentional every step of the way. From the one who restores the wheelchair through our prison ministry to the one who receives it after it's custom fit to their needs, our desire is to have Christ's heart in the giving process.

It's also why every wheelchair is delivered with the Gospel message, a Bible in the recipients first language, and connection with a local church.

Jesus cares about the one, like Lilian, who desperately needed strength for her difficult circumstances. And Jimly, who now has the eternal hope of his Savior in a time of grief, knowing he will see his mother again, and mobility to share that hope with others.
