Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
5-6 garlic cloves, grated
2 pounds ground beef
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
freshly cracked black pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or to taste
1/4 cup or more soy sauce (or coco aminos)
28oz/ 800g shredded cabbage Cole slaw
5-6 scallions thinly sliced
Optional:

scrambled eggs
buttery skillet potatoes


Instructions
Add the onion, a pinch of salt, and olive oil to a large skillet or pot and cook over medium heat until soft and golden. About 10 minutes.
Add the garlic and warm through until fragrant. About 30 seconds.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook a few minutes until most of the pinkness is gone.
Season with salt, red pepper flakes, and black pepper and cook for about 10 minutes.
Add the shredded cabbage mix to the pot and the soy sauce. Cook over medium-high heat until the cabbage wilts. Taste and add more seasoning if needed.
Top with the sliced scallions and cover the pot. The scallions will soften and will also release their flavor.
Scramble 5-8 eggs in a pan along with melted butter. Serve the scrambled eggs over the cabbage and beef. Kali Orexi!
