NOTES: I realise that there is much more to do in both places but I only spent a few hours in each to get a brief overview of the vibe. I also know I went off season which is why my experience might have been different to the usual. It took us about 1h20 mins by car from Santiago de Chile and the roads were in good condition without any issues. The local currency is the Chilean peso, the exchange rate with the US Dollar is currently 1000.
