Seeing the prototype of the Mercedes EQS, I was excited for a gorgeous New EV. But then I saw the production version, and it's hideous in comparison. Why doesn't it feel like Legacy Car makers keep shooting themselves in the foot? In the next ten years of electrification, who has the advantage? Legacy makers, or new startups like Lucid, Rivian, Arcimoto & Aptera?
