You should drain pools and puddles to keep mosquitos away- but if you can't then Mosquito Dunks- http://epicreviewguys.com/Mosquito-Dunks are a good solution. Just toss one in a stagnant pool or ponds and it will slowly release a bacterial agent that that kills mosquito larvae when ingested. One dunk lasts about 30 days and is safe for other animals that may also drink out of that pool. We have been using Mosquito Dunks for a couple of years in a permanent wet spot where out AC drains and they have done a great job.
