Join me in the hospital for a day in the life of a doctor! I'm currently on my pediatric rheumatology rotation where I see kids in clinic and in hospital. Today you'll meet Mona, a cute 6 year old girl who has made an amazing recovery from a rare condition called juvenile dermatomyositis (inflammation of the skin and muscles)!
You'll also join me as I see a patient with MIS-C (multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children), a condition kids can get about 4 weeks after catching COVID-19.
HUGE THANK YOU to Mona, Dr. Batthish, nurse Debbie, physiotherapist Maddie and child life specialist Amy. I have enjoyed working with them so much!! Such an amazing team!
