Join me for a day in the life of a doctor inside the Georgetown Public Hospital in Guyana, South America. My name is Siobhan, and I'm a Canadian resident doctor visiting Guyana. You will see what it's like to round on patients, respond to code blue emergencies and experience the challenge of having limited medical resources.

This video was recorded BEFORE the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why I was travelling internationally and not wearing a mask!

THANK YOU to the residents who participated in this video and welcomed me into their medical team for the day. Thank you to the Georgetown Public Hospital and the Internal Medicine Program for their their support and permission to film in the hospital. This was an unforgettable experience!
