The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the final iteration of an internal combustion powered V-Series sedan, closing out several generations with this epic supercharged V8. It is one of the few remaining options on the market that still offer a manual transmission, which by itself is a hugely appealing aspect.

For the 2025 model year, the entire CT5 lineup has received a mid-cycle refresh. This update includes a new front fascia with revised headlights, an upgraded 33” curved infotainment screen and various software updates, including a fairly extensive PDR (Performance Data Recorder) improvement. Powertrain-wise the lineup stays the same, which means the CT5-V still comes with a twin turbo V6 and 10 speed auto, while the top tier Blackwing has the supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8, making 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque.

I have wanted to buy one of these since I first drove the Blackwing generation, and with this final refresh, it will be one of our last opportunities to have this kind of combination!
