The Mare of Easttown episode 6 trailer gives us a glimpse of some scenes from the upcoming episode that look like they might be important. The episode will air this Sunday on HBO and HBO Max. Mare Sheehan (Kate Winslet) is still working on the case in the wake of Colin Zabel’s (Evan Peters) death. The chief gives her back her badge, and ends her forced leave of absence. Brianna Delrasso is interviewed and she comes clean that Dylan left his house on the night of Erin’s murder. When they call him into the station he immediately asks for a lawyer. There are theories about the ending and who the father of Erin’s son DJ are, but most of the early suspects turned out to be red herrings.

We also see Erin’s best friend Jess in the episode 6 trailer being pressured by Dylan. Jess’ motives are unclear, and she may just be trying to look out for Erin’s wishes for DJ. In episode 5 they destroyed her journals, but Jess may still have something that will reveal who DJ’s father is. What's going on with Dylan and Jess?

The limited series only has two more episodes, and with the kidnapping case solved just two major mysteries left. As many of the early suspects fade into the background, the focus has shifted toward the Ross family. Billy Ross has been a suspect for his uneasy behavior, but with Ryan’s recent outburst it seems like John might be hiding bigger secrets than just having an affair. This video takes a look at the popular ending theories and some of the most interesting suspects in Easttown.
