X3 E83. X5 BMW. This is a common failure on the M52TU and M54 engine. This would be on any BMW with the above mentioned engines: E46 3 Series, E39 5 Series, X3 E83, X5. The P0344 fault code is for camshaft position sensor A which A is referring to the intake camshaft.
