Philippines is a bread eater country.

In other words our foods whether in the main meal or snacks are carbohydrate rich.

Bread has been a satple food for all. The sandwich bread or the filipino bread the pandesal are all mainstays in our daily breakfast.

Typically prepared from a dough made of flour and water, bread is often characterized as unhealthy, harmful and fattening. It has not been marketed as healthy option for breakfast.

What then can be the health impact of bread, is it really good or bad for you?
