In ch17, (the chapter is read backwards) Jenny is late for school as her mother would not let her leave the table until she finished her prune juice to which after finishing her father takes her on a very bumpy ride on his motorcycle to get her to school.

In ch18, after Rondi makes a silly joke, Allison is marked absent and after the whole class makes fun of her, she leaves and goes down to the 19th story (there is no 19th story) to Miss Zarve's class (there is no Miss Zarves.)

In ch19, Allison tries to figure out where she is and how to get out as after closing her eyes in Miss Zarve's class, she closes her eyes to which she gets ran into by Dameon and Joy in the stairwell.

In ch20-22 (three chapters in one) Eric Fry, Eric Ovens, and Eric Bacon are all called down the Mr. Kidswatter's office for interrogation to find out where they had been, at what time, and what in the world a mug-worm griblick is.
