Oi... this one was something. On my previous channel I only had one Disney video, the original version of this one from many years ago, and it also ended up being my most viewed video. Which I had mixed feelings about it, because the original was honestly kinda bad lol. The footage was very bad quality, story was quite a mess, but somehow people still loved it so I definitely wanted to remake it and do a much better job this time around. Suffice to say, I'm far more satisfied with how this one turned out! There were a few times I wanted to pause and move onto another video, but I'm trying this weird thing where I only do one thing at a time and don't bounce around between multiple projects that never get finished... crazy, right? So it might've taken a bit longer than I would've liked, though I feel like it paid off in the end. :)


Story:
Peter and Ariel develop feelings for one another shortly after meeting. Their relationship has been complicated because she's unable to join him on his adventures as a mermaid, but Peter still waits for Ariel to come to the ocean surface. One day he sees her watching a human man and assumes she's become infatuated with him, reacting very angrily despite her attempted explanations so she swims away. Immediately Peter feels guilty for making her sad and goes to look for her, but he can't find her while she's far under the sea. Meanwhile, Ariel goes to see Ursula whom she had a prior arrangement with for the sea witch to turn her human, also why she was observing the humans knowing she would be one of them soon. The transformation is successful and Peter finds her as she surfacing, ecstatic for her new happiness. However their time together is short-lived once Hook ambushes them and captures Peter, taking him back to his ship. Ariel swims after them, climbing aboard just as a massive storm hits. She takes the opportunity to free Peter and they both fly away. Later on, Ariel has settled into life as a human. Her relationship with Peter is still unsure, but he still happily watches out for her.
