Dynamic audio is one of many ways to enhance player immersion in games through techniques such as layering multiple audio tracks, randomizing audio snippets, and changing audio based on the player’s environment. If you are the programmer responsible for implementing these features, how would you go about it? This talk will demonstrate core concepts in implementing dynamic audio using the Ren’Py visual novel engine.
