Choice is a powerful narrative tool, but the complexity it adds to a visual novel can be daunting. This introduction to choice in visual novels will provide an overview for writers and game directors alike! We’ll not only cover what different kinds of choices are and how they can be used. The goal of this talk is to answer the question: “What makes a choice meaningful?”
