Realtors across America are in for a tough year in 2024, with a new legal settlement likely lowering their fees and commissions. Something that could result in hundreds of thousands of realtors quitting.

With the National Association of Realtors just settling a lawsuit that will likely result in lower realtor commissions. This, combined with an already low home sale environment, indicates that the income that realtors earn could take a further hit.

The Housing Market in 2024 is in a tough spot for realtors and homebuyers. Home prices are still near record highs, while mortgage rates are near 7%. Causing a huge slowdown in homebuyer demand which is resulting in many realtors being forced to quite due to low commissions.
