10 minute gratitude meditation for how to find gratitude - even when it's tough. Gratitude in hard times and challenges is one of the biggest aspects of practicing gratitude to master. There will always be moments in life where grateful is the last thing you can call yourself.

Conditions like depression or anxiety might also cloud perception and make it challenging to find the light amid the darkness. Gratitude is a practice we choose to engage in that can live right alongside all of our other messy human emotions. In fact, it's a great lifeskill to learn that things don't have to be great to be grateful. Gratitude can also be a tool or ally when times are tough.

It's easy to find gratitude for the good things in our life. But what about the other stuff? The struggles, challenges, and even the moments where sadness or anger take over?

This 10 minute meditation practice walks you through the process of saying thank you for challenges and hardships.

Over the years, I've learned that my biggest challenges are what help me grow and evolve the most. They are the friction in my life that force me to polish, refine, adapt, integrate and ultimately reshape who I am becoming.

Challenges are necessary and part of the human experience. And once you see this as truth, it becomes a lot easier to say "thank you" for each and every one.
