When does foundation repair get REALLY expensive? When you have to get it down TWICE! Two big issues that resulted in this homes foundation repair FAIL. First, this is an old style of steel pier, this bracket style was very poorly designed and does not distribute the weight of your home well which often leads to failure. Second, steel piers should be driven all the way to rock when installed. The depth of rock is different depending on your area but these only went a few feet into the ground. Only going a few feet into the ground does absolutely nothing to stabilize your home. You may see temporary changes at first but they will not last long.

Dealing with a honest, reliable, and reputable foundation repair company can help you avoid these issues. There are good foundation repair companies out there but you must do your research.
